Description
Fits: 1984-present Softail models.
These saddlebags have molded ABS backs to form around the swing arm and
chrome axle nut covers. They are shaped to compliment the lines of the Softail
and give that classic look.
Dimensions: 13" tall, 21-1/2" overall length, 8"
deep at widest point with a 7" by 12" lid opening. For volume comparison, each
bag will hold 40 twelve ounce beverage cans or 1500 cubic inches.
Prices include: Prices include all mounting harware, a
pair of lid keys, leather care kit, and a pair of adjustable carrying
straps. Some Softails require rear turn signal relocation- see

Softail Deluxe Models: There is a picture showing a
close-up of the Deluxe lid showing the inlaid, basket weave tooled leather
with hand braided edge that matches the seat of the Softail Deluxe. An
exhaust change is required for any of the 4000-series saddlebags on
a Softail Deluxe. These bags will not work with
stock exhaust.
Fatboy: There is a picture showing a close-up of the
new Fat Boy lid showing the hand lacing and 3 large studs that matches the
seat of the 2007-present Fat Boy. An exhaust change is required for
any of the 4000-series saddlebags on a Fatboy. These bags
will not work with stock
exhaust.
Deuce: An exhaust change is required for any
of the 4000-series saddlebags on a Deuce. These bags will
not work with stock exhaust.
Leather Pros bags are made extremely strong. They use top quality,
thick, 9-10 ounce leather for our bags. They then reinforce the
leather with plastic throughout the bag. The backs are thermo-formed from
3/16" thick ABS plastic and made to fit around shocks, axle covers, ect., and
accept their brackets. The gussets and faces are reinforced with 1/8" and
3/16" thick HDPE plastic. The lid liners are thermo-formed from 1/8"
thick ABS plastic and have a slight "dome" in them. This is the shape most
saddle bag lids have when they are new, but as you have probably seen, other bag
lids sag down into a reverse dome with age. This will never happen with
Leather Pros bags. They also carry the plastic down the valance of the
lid. This increases the strength and gives us a solid place to rivet the
straps and lock mount to. This cleans up the appearance of the
bag by eliminating the rivets showing on the outside.

Warranty: All Leather Pros saddlebags come with
a five year warranty against defects in manufacturing and materials.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse of the bags from overloading,
abuse, or collision. If you feel you have a defect in your
saddlebags, just send them back to us and we will repair or replace the
product. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
